Pasia Vang (she/her/hers) is a multimedia enthusiast with a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Born and raised on the Eastside of St. Paul, Pasia’s identity as a queer Hmong woman has sparked her pursuit of a storytelling that pushes love, joy and laughter to the forefront of Southeast Asian narratives often scarred by histories of war and colonial violence. Pasia believes in art as a form of liberation and resistance, and by making art, she aspires to create a better, more hopeful world for her community and loved ones (including her two cats, Apollo and Cloud).
